Biography

Amy is a very passionate woman who takes the business of mortgage banking and helping people realize their dream of financial independence very seriously. She started in mortgage banking in Los Angeles in the early 1990’s and her business has bloomed. She is now one of the top loan officers in the country NMLS# 106455. Embracing the idea of inspiring her clients, Amy educates them and helps them to choose the “right” mortgage vehicle in order to help them reach their financial goals. She encourages her clients to have a plan for the future and unite as a family. A mortgage is a tool and if you use the tool correctly, you can save thousands of dollars and that money can help fund your retirement. Mortgage planning is something very few loan officers are skilled/trained at. Amy and her top-notch team spend time learning about all the different products on the market so that they can offer you the best choices.

Amy is a regular guest on “It’s Your Money” and has also been featured on local television stations. She conducts workshops throughout North Carolina at WRAL, Glaxo, Rex Hospitals, UNC Hospitals, General Electric, Wake Technical College, and various other organizations. Amy has been certified by North Carolina State as a wealth coach, and she is a motivational speaker for the NC Saves program. Amy is analytical, creative and very people-oriented. She will be up front and honest with you and through this process, has never taken a loan and not been able to close it due to a denial. They both believe that we as humans have a chance to make a difference and change the course of the world. They live on a small horse farm in Wake Forest with their dogs, cats, koi and of course horses. They are very active with the German Shepherd Rescue. Amy’s additional interests include: teaching yoga and cycling, scuba diving, travel, the arts, photography and outdoor activities. She is constantly embarking on different educational classes to challenge her mind, body and spirit.
